Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated experienced electrical hep to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, including high voltage installations, renovations, and commercial projects.
Controls experience is a major plus.
Higher pay negotiable for a licensed Journeyman.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Work with high voltage equipment and ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments.
Skills
- Proficient in working with logic controllers and understanding their applications in electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its implications for safe electrical work.
- Experience as a commercial electrician with a focus on building and renovating electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately to execute installation plans effectively.
- Skilled in the use of power tools and hand tools specific to the electrical trade.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues.
