FINS Swimming is looking for enthusiastic Swim Instructors to help children of all ages and abilities become safe, confident, and independent swimmers.
Whether you're studying education, enjoy working with children, have experience as a camp counselor, lifeguard, or teacher, or simply love being in the water, we'd love to welcome you to our team. Previous swim coaching experience is helpful, but a positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm are just as important.
Our Swim Instructors lead small-group lessons focused on building water confidence and safety, teaching foundational swimming skills, and creating a fun, encouraging environment where every swimmer can succeed.

What You'll Do
- Teach swim lessons to children ages 3–10 in small-group settings.
- Help swimmers build confidence and develop fundamental swimming skills.
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage swimmers while celebrating their progress.
- Adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.
- Communicate professionally with families and fellow coaches.
- Prioritize swimmer safety at all times.

Previous swim instruction or coaching experience is a plus but is not required. We provide training and support to help you become a successful instructor.
