We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Breakfast Cook who takes pride in preparing fresh, high-quality food in a fast-paced café environment. If you enjoy working mornings, staying organized, and being part of a positive team, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock the kitchen before opening
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station throughout each shift
- Ensure all food is prepared quickly while maintaining excellent presentation and consistency
- Monitor food inventory and communicate when supplies are running low
- Properly store, label, and rotate food according to food safety guidelines
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate orders
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Assist with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or breakfast experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right person.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and food quality
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and some holidays
