Now Hiring: Caregiver for 1-Year-Old Child (Spartanburg Area)
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable caregiver to support a 1-year-old girl in the Spartanburg area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and can provide gentle, attentive care throughout the week.
Schedule
Approximately 30 hours per week
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
(Exact daily hours will be discussed during the interview)
Pay
Up to $16.50 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
The caregiver will provide hands-on support with daily routines, accompany the child to scheduled therapies or doctor appointments, and help maintain a clean, safe environment. A nurturing, calm, and dependable presence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist with changing, bathing, and dressing
- Provide attentive supervision and ensure the child’s safety at all times
- Accompany the child to therapy sessions and doctor appointments
- Keep the child’s room tidy and organized
- Engage her in gentle, age‑appropriate activities
- Support daily routines in a warm, patient, and encouraging manner
Requirements
- Experience caring for infants or toddlers
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Comfortable assisting with hands-on personal care
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Ability to communicate effectively with the parent and follow care instructions
