American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a robust L&D unit, requiring shift rotation and on-call availability.

Work in a robust Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
-
12-hour shifts scheduled 07:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00, rotating days and nights
-
Scheduled 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
-
4 x 12-hour on-call shifts required per 6-week period
-
Floating to similar units may be required as needed

Active SC or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification (AHA only)

Current NRP certification (AHA only)

Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required

Responsibilities include patient assessment through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis, with age-appropriate nursing interventions aligned to the plan of care

Expected to contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring of novice staff

Participation in hospital-system initiatives supporting Evidence-Based Practice is encouraged
