Tri-Cities Beverage is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our warehouse team as Hand stackers. This position is responsible for hand-selecting and stacking cases of beer to build customer orders for delivery the following day.
This is a physically demanding position that requires working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and lifting product throughout the shift.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Start time: 10:00 a.m.
- End times vary daily based on workload and order volume
Compensation
- Paid training provided during the first two weeks
- After training, employees are paid on a commission-based picking system based on productivity
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Hand-pick cases of beer and other beverage products to build customer orders
- Accurately select products according to order sheets
- Stack and organize products on pallets for loading and delivery
- Verify product quantities and maintain order accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
Physical Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Frequently lift, carry, and stack cases weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and lift throughout the entire shift
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment at a consistent pace
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, including hot and cold temperatures depending on the season
Qualifications
- Warehouse experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment
Important Information
This is a hands-on warehouse position that involves manually picking and stacking product throughout the shift. This is not a forklift operator position and requires continuous physical labor, including repetitive lifting, carrying, and stacking of beverage products.
