- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality in accordance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards.
- Support sample processing, data collection, and documentation following strict laboratory procedures and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
- Perform quality control checks on biological samples, including microbiology, histology, molecular biology specimens, and other research materials.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations by adhering to safety protocols, proper documentation practices, and regulatory standards.
- Operate Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to record data accurately and manage sample tracking efficiently.
- Contribute to laboratory audits by preparing documentation related to analysis results, research activities, and inventory management.
- Assist in routine laboratory tasks such as preparing reagents, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting microbiology or clinical laboratory experiments.
- Collaborate with research teams on development projects involving animal physiology studies or veterinary terminology understanding. Experience
- Prior experience working in an industrial or research laboratory environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques including histology, molecular biology methods, microbiology assays, and general analysis skills.
- Knowledge of GLP standards, CGMP regulations, FDA compliance requirements, and quality control procedures.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or similar data management tools.
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures related to clinical research or veterinary sciences.
- Ability to interpret scientific data accurately while maintaining meticulous records.
- Demonstrated proficiency in math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations within a laboratory setting.
