We are seeking skilled Conventional Mill\Lathe Operator responsible for set-up, run, tear down 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC Mills to fabricate industrial valves per engineering specifications without supervision. This position requires 3+ years experience running CNC Mills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ability to set-up, run, tear down 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC Mills.
- Inspect parts during production run to control quality.
- Deburring as needed during production.
- Observe machine during operation and completes production data collection paperwork.
- Review queue and prep next job during cycle time.
- Knowledge of mill cutting tools and holders.
- Basic understanding of feeds and speeds.
- Multi-axis operation and understanding.
- Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills. Must be able to recognize production problems such as out-of-tolerance machining, poor finishes, damaged or worn cutters and tooling.
- Ability to dial in a hole, use of edge-finder, and set machine/tool offsets.
CNC MACHINIST REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience operating CNC mills
- Experience reading blueprints
