Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care by assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. The successful candidate will monitor patient progress, perform standard nursing procedures, and complete required documentation. The RN will be responsible for administering medications, performing intravenous and phlebotomy procedures, and offering health education to patients in correctional .
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, identifying needs and developing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes to ensure the effectiveness of nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and provide pharmacological support in accordance with established protocols.
- Perform basic intravenous (IV) and phlebotomy procedures as required.
- Provide health-related education to patients and families based on patient needs and understanding.
- Document patient care activities, plans, and discharge planning in a clear, objective, and legible manner, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
- Ensure all nursing procedures are carried out with attention to safety, hygiene, and patient comfort.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Adhere to all nursing policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in nursing practice with a strong foundation in clinical procedures and patient care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to educate and interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and patient care.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
