Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and LARA license (see www.michigan.gov/lara for details)
- One or more of the following:
- Licensed or limited licensed Master’s level Psychologist (or under supervision)
- MDE credentialed Master’s level School Psychologist
- Licensed or limited licensed Master’s level Social Worker (or under supervision)
- Licensed Master’s level Marriage and Family Therapist
- Licensed or limited licensed Master’s level Professional Counselor (or under supervision)
- Valid School Counselor License, or Michigan Teaching Certificate with School Counselor (NT) endorsement
- Preliminary or Temporary School Counselor License (with plan to meet licensure within 24 months, as required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group therapy, social-emotional, and mental health services to students
- Provide classroom and building-wide supports—professional learning, positive behavior strategies, and guidance to staff
- Collaborate with educational professionals and families to support students’ wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and timely records, respecting confidentiality and school policy
