- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and provide leadership to the team.
- Supervise and train staff on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Conduct employee orientation and facilitate ongoing training & development programs.
- Engage in recruiting efforts by interviewing potential candidates and participating in employee selection.
- Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer service.
- Maintain an organized store environment through effective merchandising and pricing strategies.
- Utilize retail math skills for budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Foster a positive work culture by promoting teamwork and open communication among staff.
- Individual sales contribution, focusing on developing a sales driven environment.
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in retail management or as an assistant manager. A strong background in supervising staff is essential. The following skills are highly desirable:
