The DLDCCC is an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center affiliated with Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, Ben Taub Hospital, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, and Texas Children's Hospital. The O'Quinn Medical Tower offers state-of-the-art facilities including radiology, radiation oncology, endoscopy, and an 80-bed infusion center with a dedicated Phase I unit.
The DLDCCC supports over $130 million in annual cancer-related research funding, including more than $44 million from the NCI. Faculty benefit from access to six well-funded research programs and ten disease-specific working groups that foster collaboration between basic and clinical scientists.
