About AutoBiography
AutoBiography (ABA) is building the platform for car enthusiasts — a place where people can tell their car's story, connect with clubs, and find their community. We're the official app of BMW Car Club of America and expanding fast. We're early-stage, moving quickly, and this is a real job with real impact.
The Role
This is a full-time summer marketing internship (40 hrs/week, $15/hr), with the possibility of transitioning to a part-time role in the fall. You'll help ABA grow its B2C presence — finding the people and channels that reach car enthusiasts where they already live online, building our social voice, and helping us design the moments in the member experience that turn new users into regulars.
You'll work across content, influencer relationships, event marketing, and product — and you'll be expected to have opinions backed by data.
What You'll Do
Identify and build relationships with automotive influencers and content creators who align with ABA's audience and voice.
Manage ABA's social presence (primarily Facebook, Instagram) — developing a content cadence, posting consistently, and building engagement.
Write marketing copy, email content, and in-product messaging that reflects our brand voice: the car is always the hero.
Work with club leaders to build repeatable pre- and post-event promotion workflows — so that every event ABA powers gets the social attention it deserves.
Analyze user behavior data and develop a point of view on where in the member journey we should be introducing engagement incentives — and how.
How We'll Measure Success
Our north star metrics are garages with cars added and members with 5+ feed sessions. Your success metrics will ladder up to these: follower growth and engagement rate, influencer outreach response rate, event promotion reach, and documented recommendations on in-app engagement triggers.
What We're Looking For
You think visually and write well. You spend time on automotive social content and understand what actually performs in this space. You're comfortable looking at data and forming an opinion, not just reporting numbers. Experience with Instagram, email tools, or basic analytics platforms is a plus.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
