About LDV Winery
LDV Winery is a family-owned estate winery producing high-quality, hand-crafted wines with a strong focus on direct-to-consumer sales. Our tasting room in Old Town Scottsdale offers an intimate, table-side tasting experience that combines exceptional hospitality, storytelling, and wine education. We are looking for energetic, sales-driven, and reliable professionals to join our team for our high-volume peak season.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Education
- Provide warm, table-side hospitality, educating guests on our wine portfolio and the LDV story.
- Conduct wine tastings and pair light food offerings to create memorable experiences for everyday visitors, private groups, and wine club members.
- Represent the LDV brand at the tasting room and special events.
Sales & Wine Club Growth
- Drive bottle sales, retail merchandise purchases, and wine club memberships with a strong focus on upselling and closing.
- Build lasting relationships with guests and existing club members to support long-term retention.
- Meet or exceed monthly tasting room sales targets.
Tasting Room Operations
- Manage table-side service, operate POS systems, and accurately process transactions.
- Assist with opening/closing duties, stocking inventory, assembling wine club orders, and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Safely handle food preparation in accordance with Maricopa County health guidelines.
Position Requirements & Seasonal Commitment
- Seasonal Availability: Must commit to working from October 2026 through April 2027.
- Holiday Commitment: Peak season falls during the holiday months. Candidates must be fully available to work evenings, weekends, and key holidays throughout November, December, January, and spring peak months without requesting time off for holiday travel.
- Age & Certifications: Must be 21 years or older. Must possess (or obtain prior to start date) an AZ Title 4 Basic Liquor Training Certification and a Maricopa County Food Handler Card.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (cases of wine) repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, reaching, and squatting duties.
- Experience: Background in hospitality, high-end retail, or sales preferred, along with a strong enthusiasm for wine.
