Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Vermont
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering student development and working cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with clearly outlined, targeted goals
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress data as required by state and district guidelines
- Engage with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support integrated student care
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration and professional development opportunities
- Adapt therapeutic strategies to suit diverse student needs across age groups
