Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components.
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, electrical tools, and equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance to uphold building standards.
- Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, hand tools, and other mechanical systems.
- Read technical schematics and mechanical drawings to diagnose problems accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
- Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automated systems when applicable.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants and ensuring minimal disruption.
- Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects to enhance the appearance of interior spaces.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in line with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with a strong mechanical background.
- Proficiency with electrical work including repair of electrical equipment and understanding of schematics.
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair with knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Experience with HVAC system repair, including troubleshooting thermostats, compressors, fans, and ductwork.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of building interior maintenance including painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is desirable for troubleshooting automated systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical equipment repair using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks clearly with team members or clients.
- Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior staff or coordinating multiple projects simultaneously are advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
