Serving two campuses on an itinerant basis, you’ll play a key role supporting K-12 learners and collaborating with dedicated educational teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential
- Master's degree required
- Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
- Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
- At least three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
- Prior experience working in a school environment
- Must complete fingerprint-based background check before start date
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to determine eligibility for special education services
- Administer and interpret formal and informal assessments
- Prepare clear, detailed reports outlining student needs and recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attend and contribute to meetings regarding student progress and program planning
- Travel between two assigned schools within the district as needed
