Summary:
Chug Soda Shop is looking for multiple Shift Leads to join the team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations during your shift. You will maintain service speed and quality, support and coach team members, and keep things running smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role—you’ll be actively working alongside the team, helping with orders, and setting the tone for a fun, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise team operations during assigned shifts.
- Assign workstations to team members and monitor shift flow.
- Support and coach team members to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
- Resolve customer service issues during the shift.
- Assist with opening, closing, cash handling, and reporting duties.
- Monitor inventory levels during shifts and communicate needs to the Store Manager.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a food service or customer service role.
- 6 months of leadership experience (even informal, like training new employees).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Excels in a fast-paced environment and can problem-solve and respond to situations quickly.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in drive-thru or quick service restaurant (QSR) settings.
- Familiarity with basic POS systems.
