Job Summary

Duties
- Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, HIPAA regulations, and safety policies.
- Manage medical records, electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks), and patient management software to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
- Supervise healthcare staff, including nurses, administrative support personnel, and other team members; provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate scheduling, patient flow, and appointment management to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including JCAHO standards, managed care policies, utilization management protocols.
- Support human resources functions such as onboarding new staff, managing employee relations, and ensuring team engagement.
- Facilitate communication between clinical staff, patients, vendors, and external agencies to promote smooth operations.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives focused on patient care excellence and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a clinical setting.
- Strong background in nursing with acute care or hospital experience preferred.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, managed care policies, and health regulation policies.
- Skilled in managing medical records and medical administrative support functions efficiently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication purposes.
- Strong managerial communication skills coupled with customer service orientation to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
