QUALIFICATIONS:
Authorized to work in the United States
Basic English proficiency is required.
CNA, LVN license or Medical Assistant (MA) preferred
Demonstrates empathy, patience, and strong communication abilities.
Must have a valid driver's license, current insurance, and a vehicle that can accommodate a wheelchair.
Adaptable and cooperative in meeting job responsibilities
Capable of working autonomously and as part of a team
Possesses keen observational skills and solid judgment
Has dependable transportation
Regularly needs to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Often required to push and pull weights ranging from 0 to 150+ pounds
JOB DESCRIPTION. (depending on the needs of the client)
Personal Care Assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting;
Mobility Assistance including ambulation, wheelchair, and transfers.
Meal preparation including special diets, supervising and assisting the client with eating and drinking
Light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, laundry/linen changes and dishes;
Driving and/or escorting clients to shopping, errands, socialization activities, and/or doctor’s appointments;
Medication reminders
Companionship and socialization.
