Duties
- Perform a wide range of esthetic treatments including facials, dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and skin rejuvenation procedures.
- Apply permanent makeup techniques such as lip blush, eyeliner pigment application, microblading, and tattooing with precision and safety.
- Conduct specialized cosmetic procedures like esthetic laser treatments and eyelash extension applications while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and post-treatment care to ensure optimal results.
- Maintain detailed medical records and client files using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Follow strict sanitation and infection control regulations for tattooing, piercing, and all aesthetic treatments to guarantee client safety.
- Stay current on industry trends, color theory, anatomy knowledge, and new techniques to provide innovative services that meet client needs.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with certification in cosmetology or related fields.
- Proven experience in lip blush, tattooing, permanent makeup, microblading, and eyelash extensions preferred.
- Knowledge of tattoo and piercing safety regulations along with sanitation standards for all aesthetic procedures.
- Strong understanding of skin anatomy, color theory, infection control practices, and esthetic laser treatments.
- Excellent communication skills for client consultation and education; ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for managing medical records and appointment scheduling.
- Flexibility to perform various aesthetic treatments including hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, makeup application, and more.
