Job Description:As a Carpenter with our team, you will be responsible for delivering quality work while collaborating closely with colleagues and following directions from our Lead Carpenter. You should have a good understanding of essential carpentry skills, including but not limited to roofing, siding, windows, doors, drywall, and framing. Experience or willingness to learn work with break metal, soffit, fascia, steel roofing, steel siding, composite decks, railing, and related tasks is a plus. The ideal candidate is adaptable, hard-working, and ready to work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with team members and take direction from the Lead Carpenter.
- Perform high-quality carpentry work on various projects, including but not limited to:
- Roofing installation and repairs
- Siding and window/door installation
- Drywall and framing tasks
- Break metal work, soffit, and fascia installation
- Steel roofing, steel siding, composite decks, and railing construction
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and techniques as needed.
- Adapt to working in various weather conditions and on diverse job sites.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in basic carpentry skills, with knowledge of roofing, siding, windows, doors, drywall, and framing.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to new methods.
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
- Prior experience in break metal work, soffit, fascia, steel roofing, steel siding, composite decks, and railing is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for areas where additional knowledge is needed.
