Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including patient scheduling, billing, coding, and medical records management.
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations.
- Manage budgeting, financial management, and expense control to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient flow and clinical workflows.
- Implement policies for medical administrative support, patient confidentiality, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Oversee independent Medical Examinations (IMEs), depositions, and hearing.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of medical-legal reports.
- Manage physician calendars.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare management within an orthopedic or related specialty setting.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a clinical environment.
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and EMR/EHR systems.
- Familiarity with fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and managed care processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Background in clinic or hospital settings with experience in acute care or surgical practices preferred.
- Medical-legal (IMEs, depositions, hearings)knowledge preferred
