POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Home Solutions Midwest warehouse. This position is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing products, maintaining accurate inventory, staging and preparing materials for installer crews, and supporting day-to-day logistics. The Warehouse Coordinator works closely with installation teams, logistics staff, and management to keep jobs running on schedule and ensure accuracy in all warehouse functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, scan, and organize incoming products and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems and tools.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining product tracking systems (e.g., Orca Scan).
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards.
Job Staging & Crew Support
- Stage and prepare materials, tools, and supplies for installer crews according to job schedules.
- Double-check accuracy of materials staged for each job to avoid delays or shortages.
- Communicate with installation teams to ensure all job requirements are met.
- Track and report any product shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
Logistics & Coordination
- Support loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, and deliveries.
- Assist with scheduling deliveries and product movement between facilities.
- Help maintain equipment, tools, and warehouse supplies.
- Provide backup support for fleet or logistics needs as directed by management.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow and enforce warehouse safety guidelines and protocols.
- Report and address potential safety hazards in the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cleanliness, organization, and security.
- All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory systems, product scanning, or similar tracking processes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience staging jobs or working with installation crews.
- Familiarity with construction materials or home improvement products.
- Forklift certification or ability to be trained.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- May include occasional support of warehouse operations at other company locations.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
