About the Role
Home Base Transportation is looking for a dependable and professional part-time driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from appointments and other approved destinations.
Schedule:
- Part-time hours
- Saturday availability is required
- Additional weekday availability may be needed
- Schedule may vary based on transportation needs
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers to scheduled destinations
- Provide friendly, respectful, and professional customer service
- Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and report maintenance concerns
- Follow all company safety policies and transportation procedures
- Maintain accurate trip records and communicate with dispatch
Requirements:
- Previous professional driving or transportation experience is required
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally
- Must be comfortable working with passengers who may need additional assistance
