What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential solar system issues
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on PV systems
- Repair and replace solar components including inverters, panels, and monitoring equipment
- Perform roof repairs, re-roofs, and related service work as needed
- Install and service racking, modules, electrical equipment, and monitoring systems
- Perform electrical testing and commissioning using proper PPE and procedures
- Troubleshoot production loss and system performance issues
- Complete service documentation, RMAs, and required reporting
- Read and follow electrical plans, layouts, and installation standards
- Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites
- Travel to service locations as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of solar installation or service experience
- Electrical and roof racking experience required
- Experience troubleshooting solar equipment such as Enphase, SolarEdge, or similar systems preferred
- Familiarity with NEC codes and PV system layouts
- Ability to safely use power and hand tools
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, and in confined spaces
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of 50+ pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching

- Travel may be required based on service demand
- Background check and MVR check required
