Candidates must be based in Florida, Georgia, The Carolinas, Virginia, or Washington, D.C and should have significant experience selling into the Southeast Enterprise market and possess deep knowledge of the region’s customers, partner ecosystem, competitive landscape, and talent market. Regular travel throughout the region is expected.
NetApp is seeking an accomplished second-line sales leader to lead our Southeast Enterprise business. Reporting directly to the Vice President of U.S. Enterprise Sales, this leader will be responsible for the overall performance, strategy, and operational excellence of one of our enterprise regions. You will lead four Enterprise District Managers and their teams across Florida, the Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., creating alignment across people, customers, partners, and execution.
This leader operates as the General Manager of the Southeast Enterprise business, bringing together sales execution, talent strategy, operational excellence, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership to drive long-term growth.
Lead & Develop Leaders
Lead, coach, and develop four Enterprise District Managers while building a high-performing, accountable culture that attracts and retains top sales talent.
Create leadership consistency through regular coaching, talent planning, succession planning, and performance management.
Drive Regional Business Strategy
Own the Southeast Enterprise business strategy, including territory planning, forecasting, whitespace growth, customer retention, and overall regional performance.
Partner closely with Sales Operations to improve forecasting accuracy, business rhythms, organizational effectiveness, and data-driven decision making.
Engage Customers & Partners
Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic customer and partner relationships, helping teams navigate complex enterprise opportunities.
Collaborate across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Channel, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership to accelerate customer outcomes and regional growth.
Operational Excellence
Establish disciplined operating cadences, including forecast reviews, pipeline inspections, territory planning, and business reviews.
Identify organizational challenges early and implement scalable processes that improve execution, accountability, and overall business performance.
- 12+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with at least 5 years leading leaders in a second-line sales leadership role.
- Proven success leading geographically distributed enterprise sales organizations with responsibility for significant revenue attainment, forecasting, and business planning.
- Extensive experience selling into the Southeast Enterprise market with established executive customer and partner relationships throughout the region.
- Experience in enterprise storage, hybrid cloud, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, or adjacent enterprise infrastructure technologies - required.
- Demonstrated success attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining top sales leadership talent.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence customers, partners, and senior business leaders.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 368,900 - 477,400 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
