Sherman Antone Inc. is a small business in Houston, TX.
Sherman Antone is looking for several Commissioned Security Officers in College Station Texas. We have Day, Swings, and Grave shifts available. Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays when necessary.
Security officers will be required to pass a drug test and background.
We are hiring for level 3 positions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patrols and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or other illegal activities
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely manner
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
Skills:
- Loss prevention: Knowledge and ability to implement strategies to prevent theft or loss of property
- Certificate: Possess a valid armed guard certification issued by DPS
- Military or law enforcement experience: We are a veteran owned and operated company and veterans are encouraged to apply.
- CPR and First Aid: Ability to provide basic medical assistance in emergency situations
- Conflict management: Skilled in deescalating tense situations and resolving conflicts peacefully
