Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Technician to join our new state-of-the-art BMW dealership in Lenox, Massachusetts. This entry-level position is designed for individuals pursuing a career in automotive repair and maintenance. Under the guidance of BMW-certified technicians, the Apprentice Technician will gain hands-on experience performing inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while developing the skills required for a successful automotive service career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Perform routine services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Learn and apply BMW repair procedures, standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation.
- Use diagnostic equipment and software under supervision.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Participate in BMW training programs and certification courses as assigned.
- Assist with parts identification and inventory management.
- Follow all dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Preferred
- Enrollment in or completion of an automotive technology program.
- Previous automotive service or internship experience.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and vehicle systems.
- ASE student certifications or related coursework.

Training and Development
The Apprentice Technician will receive:

Pay Rate: $20.00 plus per hour
