Responsibilities
- Operating commercial meat slicers safely and efficiently
- Serve customers efficiently at the deli counter, providing friendly assistance and product recommendations to boost sales through upselling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all deli surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Support overall store operations by cleaning work areas or supporting other departments such as stocking during slower periods
Skills
- Ability to slice meats and cheeses to customer specifications
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse shoppers
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
