Job Title: Dishwasher

Position Summary
The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen at The Dawson. This position ensures all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen areas are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety standards, supporting the culinary team in delivering a high-quality dining experience.
Key Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment and by hand as needed

Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations, kitchen areas, and storage spaces

Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and equipment

Remove trash, recycling, and compost, and keep disposal areas clean

Assist with basic kitchen support tasks as directed (e.g., stocking supplies, light prep work)

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Qualifications

1-2 years of dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Work Environment

Fast-paced kitchen setting with exposure to heat, moisture, and cleaning chemicals

Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required
Compensation & Benefits

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
