About JNT Company
JNT Company is an interactive web and app development agency specializing in custom digital solutions that blend design, functionality, and strategy — from websites and mobile apps to marketing services. We help businesses build a strong digital presence that drives growth and deepens customer engagement.
Our work spans industries including banking, telecommunications, professional services, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, real estate, agriculture, and higher education, and we're proud to serve as an official on-call agency partner for Kansas State University. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions — our approach is built on close collaboration with clients to understand their goals and develop strategies that truly resonate with their customers.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Sales Manager to build our sales function from the ground up — with a clear, defined path to Director of Sales as the team and revenue grow. This is a builder role — you'll be creating the playbook and the team from a small base, owning strategy, hiring, and process the way a Director would — and once we hit agreed upon goals, the title formalizes to match the scope you've already built.
If you've led sales in an agency, professional services, or project-based business (not just SaaS) and you want real ownership over how a sales org gets built — without waiting for someone else to hand you the title first — this is that role.
What You'll Do
- Build and execute the sales strategy to hit revenue targets across our service lines (custom websites, custom app development, digital advertising, video production, and other marketing services)
- Recruit, coach, and lead a team of account executives/reps, growing the team as targets require
- Own the sales process end-to-end — from pipeline generation and qualification through negotiation and close
- Partner closely with Marketing and Project Management to keep sales promises aligned with what we can actually deliver, and to turn client relationships into repeat and referral business — you'll have Marketing-generated leads feeding your pipeline, not just self-sourced deals
- Build and refine sales operations: CRM hygiene (HubSpot), forecasting, pipeline reviews, comp plans, and rep onboarding/training
- Report on pipeline health and revenue performance to leadership, and adjust strategy based on what the data shows
- Represent JNT with key prospects and strategic accounts personally, especially early on
What Success Looks Like
- Within 60 days: fully ramped on our services and pipeline, first deals in motion
- Within 6 months: sales process documented, CRM clean, first hire(s) made
- Within 12 months: team hitting $1 million in booked revenue
What You Bring
- 10+ years in sales leadership, with strong experience selling complex, custom, or long-cycle solutions (SaaS, enterprise software, or similar) — agency, professional services, or project-based business experience (web/app development, marketing services, consulting, etc.) is a plus
- A track record of building or scaling a sales team from the ground up, not just managing an existing one
- Comfort with longer, relationship-driven sales cycles and project-based deal structures (as opposed to purely transactional or PLG motions)
- Strong CRM discipline (HubSpot or similar) and a data-driven approach to pipeline and forecasting
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills — you'll be closing deals personally as well as leading others who do
- The ability to partner cross-functionally with marketing and delivery teams
- A self-starter mentality — someone who takes initiative, isn't afraid to try new approaches, and can drive results without close oversight
Why JNT
- A defined path to the Director of Sales title as you build and prove out the function — this role grows with you, not around you
- A seat at the table for company strategy and major initiatives — you'll help shape decisions, not just execute them
- Uncapped commission
- Marketing-generated lead support — you won't be building pipeline entirely from scratch; our Marketing team feeds qualified leads into the funnel
- Benefits: health insurance, unlimited PTO, remote flexibility, and parental leave
- Real autonomy — you'll set the strategy, build the team, and choose the process; leadership stays out of your way on day-to-day execution
- Direct access to the CEO, without layers of management between you and the decisions that matter
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- Parental leave
