SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician will work at Cape Air’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Facillity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conformity inspections
-
Aircraft modifications
-
Read, understand, and apply blueprints and basic sheet metal repair criteria

Work with or without established blueprints to drill, dimple, file, grind, trim, countersink, install aircraft structural assemblies and subassemblies, sand, paint and seal

Participate in department/base meetings, as required by Manager

Conduct OJT with new-hires, as assigned by Base Manager

Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition

Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks which include bending, stooping, kneeling and working overhead

Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

Must have a well rounded knowledge of sheet metal tooling, equipment, materials and processes

Must be goal oriented, have an exceptional attention to detail, and must work well in team situations

Aircraft maintenance work experience, required
-
General Aviation or twin Cessna work history, preferred
-
A&P, preferred
-
Must exhibit exceptional knowledge of Cape Air and must embody the Cape Air MOCHA HAGoTDI spirit
