The Opportunity: Headquartered in Bethesda with satellite offices across Maryland, we are a premier roofing, siding, and window company. We are currently executing a massive expansion into Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia, with future plans for Delaware and Pennsylvania. We are looking for elite, high-performing professionals to lead this growth.
The Role: This is a dual-focus role for a technician who can produce. You will handle our "Exterior Tune-Up" service—a maintenance package including gutter tightening and shingle repairs—while identifying and closing high-ticket replacement contracts.
What You’ll Do:
- Technical Service: Execute "Exterior Tune-Ups" with precision (gutters, shingle replacement, siding checks).
- Expert Inspections: Identify structural needs and provide homeowners with professional, honest solutions.
- Direct Sales: Manage the full sales cycle from initial inspection to signed contract.
- Regional Growth: Lead our entry into the DC and VA markets.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their needs, and provide tailored product recommendations
- Assist customers with purchases, upselling relevant products and services to enhance their experience
- Manage pricing inquiries, ensuring accurate information is communicated clearly and confidently
- Conduct route driving to deliver products efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Perform merchandising tasks to ensure displays are attractive, organized, and fully stocked
- Handle heavy lifting of merchandise and supplies safely and efficiently during stock replenishment
- Maintain excellent communication skills to resolve customer questions or concerns promptly
- Support organizational tasks such as inventory management, route planning, and record keeping
- Drive commercial vehicles responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Apply strong math skills for transactions, pricing calculations, and inventory counts
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred
- Strong math skills for handling pricing, calculations, and inventory management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physical stamina is essential
- Prior experience in sales or merchandising is advantageous; enthusiasm for upselling is a plus
- Organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and maintain accurate records
- Military experience is considered an asset for discipline and teamwork orientation
