Position Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, increasing sales through proactive outreach, and supporting account growth. This role focuses on customer engagement and sales support, working closely with the operations team to ensure excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to existing customers to support ongoing sales and promote seasonal and specialty products
- Reach out to prospective customers to introduce MLA Wholesale and open new accounts
- Maintain regular contact with assigned accounts to encourage consistent ordering and account growth
- Share customer feedback and service needs with management and operations teams
- Support onboarding of new customers and explain ordering processes
- Track customer interactions and maintain accurate account notes
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with phone-based sales and relationship building
- Organized, reliable, and self-motivated
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, order systems)
- Floral industry experience required
