Job Summary
CRS Hospitality is seeking a highly organized Wedding and Events Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the most memorable events. This role is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality, with a flair for planning and a talent for managing multiple projects seamlessly. As a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members, you will ensure every event is executed flawlessly, exceeding expectations and creating unforgettable experiences.
Duties
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for weddings and special events
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure smooth execution from start to finish
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure the best terms and value
- Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and maximizing upselling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction
- Coordinate all logistics including catering, décor, entertainment, guest accommodations, and technical needs using event management software
- Oversee on-site setup, execution, and breakdown of events while maintaining high standards of guest services and hospitality
- Lead a team of staff or vendors during events to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service
- Utilize CRM systems to maintain client relationships, track preferences, and follow up post-event for feedback and future opportunities
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the planning process via phone, email, or in-person meetings
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or hospitality industry roles such as banquet management or guest services
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining positive client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
- Experience managing event budgets and contracts with attention to detail and financial acumen
- Background in hospitality or events management is highly preferred; banquet experience is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams or coordinating vendor staff during events
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests
- Technical proficiency in audio-visual equipment or event technology is advantageous
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances while maintaining professionalism
