We're a small private school with a great work environment and flexibility you can't find in public schools. We serve students with unique learning needs and we're celebrating over 50 years of educating the youth in the Jacksonville area. We are looking for more teachers to join our family! Our classes are maxed out at 15 students with no required state testing or strenuous IEP paperwork. Our teachers are able to focus on TEACHING!
We have 2 Positions open at our South Campus, serving students in high school or elementary school.
Hours are 8 am - 4pm Monday-Thursday and MOST Fridays 8-12pm.
Candidates do NOT need state certification to qualify.
You must have ONE of the following:
-state certification in Special Education or Elementary Education
OR
-a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or Special Education
OR
-18 hours of education related courses (transcript review required)
OR
Willingness to take and pass the certification test in Elementary Education
ESE experience is a plus. One year of teaching experience is preferred.
Candidates must be able to produce a clear background check with absolutely NO arrests.
Our school offers medical, dental, vision, life and AFLAC supplemental insurance plans. We also have a 401K plan with matching funds.
Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 4 pm and most Fridays 8:00-12pm. Job starts August 14th 2026 through May, 28 2027.
