Postgraduate Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center – Lebanon, NH
The Dartmouth Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellowship programs are accepting applications for the 2027-2028 academic year. Our programs prepare APPs for practice through structured postgraduate training, clinical mentorship, and progressive responsibility. Fellows develop foundational clinical judgment, professional confidence, and systems awareness needed to launch their careers. Postgraduate APP education at Dartmouth Health strengthens specialty practice and supports a sustainable healthcare workforce for the patients and communities we serve.
For this academic cycle, we are offering training opportunities in six specialties:
- Critical Care
- Hematology and Oncology
- Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Neurology
- Otolaryngology
- Primary Care

Applications must include:
- At least two letters of reference on letterhead, submitted by you with your other application materials or directly by your references to [email protected].
Reference letters should attest to your interests, experience, and potential in the specialty to which you are applying. At least one reference must be from a clinical supervisor or clinical rotation preceptor. If you are currently enrolled in an APRN or PA program, or graduated in the past year one reference must be from your program director, clinical rotations director or advisor.

Requirements may vary by specialty; see website for additional details:
- Graduate of an accredited Master's Degree Physician Assistant program or an Advanced Practice Nursing program
- Must have an active national certification as a PA or NP
- Ability to obtain/maintain PA/APRN licensure in New Hampshire prior to program start date
