Production Supervisor (1st Shift)
Hours: 7 AM-4 PM Monday-Friday

Position Summary
The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations and related production processes. This role is responsible for achieving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives while developing a high-performing team and driving continuous improvement.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve individual and team performance goals.
- Establish clear expectations, provide performance feedback, and support employee development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and performance management.
Manufacturing Operations
- Supervise production activities to ensure schedules, quality standards, and customer commitments are met.
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and resources to maximize efficiency.
- Identify and resolve production constraints while supporting equipment setup and maintenance.
- Oversee assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities as required.
Continuous Improvement
- Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
- Develop and maintain standardized work and process controls.
- Drive waste reduction and operational excellence initiatives.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company procedures, and customer requirements.
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Support quality initiatives and continuous process improvements.
Scope
Exercises independent judgment in managing personnel, equipment, and production resources to achieve operational objectives. Identifies improvement opportunities and implements solutions that enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
Education
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success leading Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
- Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, and manufacturing metrics.
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems and ERP/MRP software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
