Kirby Risk, In partnership with Express Employment Professionals, is seeking self-motivated, driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, who are adaptable, and have a Strong Passion for Results and Quality.
You must be reliable, have reliable transportation, and willing to work 5-6 days a week. This position is for people who can work 50+ hours per week. Mandatory overtime is required after 30 days.
As a Production Assembler, you will perform a variety of semi-skilled assembly duties, completing some of these essential job functions that are necessary to the production process:
- Performs assembly line tasks according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
- Works alongside a team to assemble products or components
- Conducts quality inspections
- Stocks material in work area
- Trims tie wrapping with tie wrapping gun
- Labels products or bins
- Operates machinery safely as assigned, machines can include: braiding machines, injection molder, calibration machine and/or wire press as assigned
- Performs production duties such as soldering, crimping, tie wrapping, and braiding
- Loads connectors or inserts with a properly terminated wire
- Ensures placement of terminals on wire sieving of the terminated wire using a heat gun or heat machine

· 18 years or older
· Overtime work
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
· Strong attention to detail
· Reliable
· No violent criminal convictions
What are some of the Physical Requirements?
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to differentiate color variations
- Ability to stand for the duration of assigned shift
- Ability to lift from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and floor up to 72”
- Ability to make coordinated arm, hand, and finger movements
- Ability to use hand tools requiring grasping, pinching, twisting, pushing, pulling motions
What are the Hours?
1st shift position starts at $18.00/hr
- Monday through Friday - and then every other Saturday after 30 days
- You can pick your start time (5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, or 7:00 AM)
For the first 30 days, you'll choose any of the following:
5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- After 30 days, your shift will switch to 9-hour or 10-hour shifts
- Mandatory overtime is REQUIRED after 30 days
2nd shift position starts at $18.50/hr
- 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday - Thursday
- Overtime required on Fridays after 30 days (typically 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM)
What is the Environment Like?
- Mostly indoors, controlled temperature environment.
- Variation of noise levels to include: High to moderate noise due to hand tools, Machinery, heavy equipment, alarms, moving mechanical equipment
- Fast-paced utilizing all tools and equipment related to the role/area
