Lucas Industries, a PCM Innovation Company, is a growing manufacturer that specializes in precision aerospace tooling and parts. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Tooling Fabricator. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sanding, polishing, alignment, final assembly and tool trials of Aerospace Manufacturing Tooling.
Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power equipment to produce high quality surface finishes. Support product manufacturing and Production Departments during a spontaneous adversity. Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics and material properties. This person is also responsible for inspection and handling of products, equipment and materials. This person will be working within ISO 9001, AS9100 certified quality management system parameters and procedures.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand the contents of blueprints, Geometric Tolerancing, Surface Finishes and Bill of Materials.
- The ability to work with a wide variety of materials: Metals, Tooling Board and Composites.
- Proper application of adhesives and resins.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Moderate to heavy lifting.
- Capable of being on your feet most of the day.
- Work as part of a team and be able to take instructions from a variety of co-workers.
- Cross training and work in other areas of the shop may be required.
- A valid driver's license.
