I & B Transportation Inc. is expanding our OTR operation and looking for an experienced, dependable Class A CDL Flatbed Driver with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable flatbed experience who is ready to run during the week and come home on weekends.

OTR Without Giving Up Every Weekend
We understand one of the biggest sacrifices of OTR driving is time away from home.
That's why our operation is structured around a simple goal:
Run during the week. Come home on weekends.
You'll operate OTR flatbed routes based on available freight and customer needs while maintaining regular communication with dispatch.
Routes and schedules may vary, but weekend home time is a key part of this opportunity. Drivers who prefer to remain out may have additional opportunities based on freight availability.
What You'll Do
As an I & B Transportation OTR Flatbed Driver, you will:
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer and flatbed equipment
- Pick up and deliver freight safely and on time
- Properly secure loads in accordance with applicable safety requirements
- Use appropriate straps, chains, binders, and other securement equipment
- Inspect load securement before and during transit as required
- Tarp and untarp loads when required
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate DOT and electronic logs
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch
- Immediately communicate delays, equipment concerns, accidents, or other issues affecting a load
- Maintain professional communication with customers, shippers, receivers, dispatchers, and management
- Properly care for company equipment
- Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA safety requirements
- Maintain a professional attitude while representing I & B Transportation
Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced flatbed professional.

HARD-WORKING — Flatbed isn't for everybody. You understand the work involved and are ready to get it done.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable flatbed driving experience — REQUIRED
- Verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of proper flatbed load securement
- Experience using chains, straps, binders, and other securement equipment
- Ability to tarp and untarp loads when required
- OTR driving experience
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Must meet applicable DOT/FMCSA qualification requirements
- Must successfully complete required drug and alcohol testing
- Must meet applicable background and driving-history requirements
- Must be comfortable operating OTR throughout the workweek
- Must properly maintain electronic logs and required documentation
- Must demonstrate strong communication, professionalism, safety, and reliability
This is a FLATBED position. A minimum of 2 years of verifiable flatbed experience is required. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.
Compensation
$1,800–$2,500+ weekly earning potential
Drivers are paid weekly via Direct Deposit.
Actual earnings may vary based on completed loads, mileage, availability, freight volume, and other operational factors. Complete compensation terms will be discussed with qualified candidates before contracting.
Independent Contractor Opportunity
This opportunity is currently structured for independent contractor drivers.
Complete compensation, equipment, operating, insurance, tax, and contractual terms will be reviewed with qualified candidates before an agreement is executed.
