American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at an acute care hospital, requiring strong endoscopy procedure experience and an active IL RN license.

Work in the Operating Room of a 65-bed acute care hospital
-
GI Lab and outpatient surgery procedures including colonoscopy, ERCP, and EGD
-
Specialized equipment includes Olympus scopes, ERBE, polyp snares, and foreign body equipment
-
Experience with specimen handling/labeling, opioid analgesics, and reversal agents required
-
Schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 4x9-hour shifts (8 hours of procedures plus 1 hour assisting in the department)

Charting system: Cerner

Free parking available in any unrestricted space

Active IL RN license currently in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Strong endoscopy procedure experience required, including GI Lab, colonoscopy, ERCP, and EGD

Experience with outpatient surgery and infusion settings required

Cerner EMR experience required

Previous charge nurse experience is a plus

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Small acute care community hospital located approximately 45 minutes from Scott Air Force Base and less than 1 hour from St. Louis

Any scrub color is acceptable; no t-shirts, sweatshirts, or clothing with logos from other organizations
