Position Overview
The Coil Shop Technician is a key part of the team to support the coil production, shipping, and receiving operations. This role involves hands-on shop work, accurate documentation, and coordination with other team members. This role requires a self-directed, organized, and reliable multitasker who is comfortable in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform coil production tasks, including assembly, preparation, and quality checks
- Manage coil shipping, including packaging, labeling, documentation, and coordination with carriers
- Handle incoming packages and materials, verifying accuracy and organizing inventory
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment, following shop safety procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory and tracking in production process
- Operation of shop equipment safely
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion
Required Qualifications
- No shop experience required, but openness to learning processes required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs safely and repeatedly
- Communication skills and teamwork
- Ability to work independently and self-direct in a shop environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Prior experience in production setting
- Forklift certified* (will receive training as part of the job regardless)
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
