Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Load and unload raw materials safely using manual labor or overhead crane.

Set up, adjust, and operate band saw to cut bar or tube. Read blueprints and work orders to determine cutting requirements.
- Adjust machine settings or program for repetitive cuts.

Accurately complete production records and assist with raw material inventory.

Inspect cut materials using tape measure/calipers to ensure they meet required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards. Mark part number on workpieces.

Perform daily and routine preventative maintenance. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and replacing dull or broken blades.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Notify supervisor of shortages or inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications & Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required with average math skills.

Attention to detail.

Able to use hand and power tools proficiently.
-
Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety.

Must be dependable and report to work on time.
