Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining inventory records for all incoming and outgoing items to ensure that only authorized materials are stored in the warehouse.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that orders are shipped on time, damaged goods are replaced, and customers/teams are kept informed about their orders’ status.
- Ensure that warehouse staff members are following company policies and procedures for inventory control and packaging, including safety measures.
- Reviewing inventory reports to identify problems with supply levels or product quality and working with suppliers to resolve these issues.
- Coordinating with shipping companies to arrange for delivery of items purchased online or over the phone.
- Supervises inventory control functions determines supply sources, sets inventory levels, determines when stock orders should be placed, arranges for special purchases, services and contracts.
- Coordinate with electricians and project managers for proper coverage of supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Experience in tele-data/electrical industry.
- Experience in the principles of inventory management.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems.
- Understands safety regulations and laws for safe working conditions.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
- Medical DOT Card (preferred) or the willingness to obtain one.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license.
