Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle various types of delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload using a dolly.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures upon delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and commercial driving practices is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
