Overview
Midland Vet Services is looking to hire a temporary assistant to help with compounding services. No prior pharmacy experience necessary and certification not immediately required. Ongoing employment is not guaranteed, but could be a possibility based on employee performance during the temporary period. This role may last between one to three months and requires light manual compounding tasks among a team of other technicians and pharmacists. This role does not require use of computer or data entry skills. Typical hours are Mon - Fri 8am to 4pm. If willing, there may be more options for work hours before / after this timeframe or on weekends, but this is not a requirement. Incentive bonuses exist if incremental goals are achieved.
Duties
- Prepare compounding process by opening boxes / breaking down boxes / staging areas
- Assist with pharmacy compounding
- Clean compounding areas after daily work
- Label orders at the time of dispensing (at the pharmacist's direction)
- Ship product to end users when ready
