- Review and prepare individual, business, and trust/estate tax returns
- Manage tax planning strategies for clients
- Oversee daily office operations, scheduling, and workflow
- Supervise and mentor tax preparers/support staff
- Serve as primary client contact for complex tax matters
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage client relationships and business development support
- Handle IRS/state correspondence and audit representation
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and office administrative tasks
- Maintain quality control standards for all tax work product
Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax preparation/review experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., UltraTax, Lacerte, Drake)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, especially during tax season
Preferred
- Experience in a small firm environment
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and general office software
- Prior staff supervision experience
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
