What You'll Do
- Teach engaging and interactive driver education classes
- Provide behind-the-wheel instruction to teen drivers
- Help students develop safe driving habits and sound decision-making skills
- Create a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment
- Coach and motivate students as they build confidence behind the wheel
- Follow Top Driver's proven curriculum and instructional standards
- Prioritize student safety during every lesson
Flexible Evening & Weekend Schedule
This position is ideal for teachers, coaches, retirees, first responders, customer service professionals, or anyone seeking meaningful part-time or full-time work.

- After-school and evening hours available throughout the week
- Weekend opportunities available year-round
- Sunday availability is highly preferred (our busiest day)
- Additional daytime opportunities may be available during summer and school breaks

Paid Professional Training
Top Driver provides a comprehensive paid training program and industry-leading curriculum designed to prepare instructors for success. You'll receive hands-on support and guidance before working independently with students.
Candidates who hold an Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Substitute Teaching Certificate—or are willing to obtain one—are encouraged to apply and may qualify for a shortened training process.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping teens succeed
